Hi, I’m Gayle Taylor. I joined the friendly professional team at Morayfield Vet Surgery in August 2011.
After graduating from the University of Queensland Vet School in 1991, I worked in mixed practice (animals small and large, furred and feathered) in Mildura, Victoria for a couple of years. There I gained a good grounding in my Vet career and being in the sunny Sunraysia district a taste for the local produce and Good Wine!
In 1994 I decided to visit the wider world and head overseas to England for six, maybe twelve months and strayed for 12 Years! There I worked exclusively in small animal practice attending to Cats and Dogs mostly but also rabbits and a few other small furry pet varieties.
Over the years my interests and experience have developed in small animal medicine, particularly endocrinology, ophthalmology and internal medicine.
Apart from just getting to interact with puppies and kittens and good natured grown up pets too, I most enjoy working up medical cases, that is trying to identify your pets problems by performing tests which will help find a solution.
I returned back home, after enjoying lots of wildlife and adventure travel in my spare time, with a bit of culture, a few cold, sometimes even White Christmases and very short English Summers, in 2007.
Since being back in Australia I worked the first two years in a couple of small animal practices in the Brisbane area, then had a two year stint in the tropics, in a small town near Mackay, before the Great South East, friends and family and a desire for slightly less humid summers called me back.
Now I continue to be a part of the great team at Morayfield Vet Surgery, always aiming to do our best for you and your pets.Return to our About Us Page
